Join us on a tour to Plitvice Lakes National Park and spend the day in the breathtaking beauty of Croatia’s Dinaric Mountains on an 8-hour tour of Plitvice Lakes. See the terraced lakes and waterfalls of crystal clear water flowing through a vast and lush environment.
Granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979, Plitvice is located roughly halfway between Zagreb and Zadar. Marked on old maps as the “Devil’s Garden,” the spectacular area consists of 16 interconnected terraced lakes, gushing over travertine rock covered in moss.
Departing from Zadar at 08:15, you will drive for about 1 hour and 45 minutes before reaching Plitvice National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna, including wild boar, wolves, and even bears!
Once at the national park, begin your 4-hour guided tour, visiting Upper and Lower lakes and enjoying the unspoiled nature of one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. Although you can’t swim in the protected lakes, your guide will show you the best places to explore and relax in this paradise of natural wonders.
Besides walking, sightseeing includes an electric boat ride on Kozjak Lake. Return to Zadar at around 18:00.

TESTIMONY:
AMAZING!! Easy pickup point at the edge of the old town. Very comfortable vehicle for our small group of 12. We had the most glorious sunny weather. We arrived at Entrance 1 outside the cafe. Our guide gave us a box breakfast & we sat at the tables in front of the cafe. You have time to get a coffee here. We walked into the park & down towards the bus that took us to the top of the upper lakes. We are in our 60’s & reasonably fit but our guide set the pace to accommodate all in our party. The walk is incredible & our guide explained various things along the way. We walked down passed all of the upper lakes & then took a boat to connect with the lower lakes. At this point there is a comfort stop & time to grab something to eat. There is also a stop at a restaurant on the way home for a more substantial lunch or simply a snack. I cannot speak more highly about our guide Ante. He was exceptional & I truly appreciated hearing the history of Zadar, Plitvice Lakes & Croatia. Fabulous!
