Croatia has a beautiful coast with thousands of islands, reefs and bays. Numerous romantic ruins, charming hills, countless natural beauties and phenomena are waiting to be discovered. On one of our easiest tours, we invite you to spend a week cycling between the mainland and the islands.

Day 1 - Sat: Arrival in Zadar

Transport from airport: Zadar 30 min.  min. 2 persons.

After settling into your accommodation, we will meet in the restaurant for an informal welcome drink and dinner. We will have the chance to discuss the upcoming itinerary and get to know our guides and fellow travelers.

2nd day (Sun) Zadar – Preko – Tkon - Biograd (approx. 35 km by bicycle)

After breakfast, we cycle to Zadar. After a coffee break, we cross the Zadar channel to Preko on Ugljan Island with ferry. From there we cycle to Tkon on the island of Pasman. Along the east coast, we experience the beautiful ocean and mainland views.

The trails lead to the many islands’ peaks and the west coast. After a memorable day, several refreshing breaks, hidden coves and beautiful beaches in the evening the ferry picks us up from Tkon and takes us to Biograd, where a bus is waiting to take us home.

3rd Day (Mon) National Park Plitvice (Biking distance 20 km, walking about 10 km.)

Today we are visiting the most beautiful and stunning national park of Croatia - Plitvice Lakes National Park - which used to be possible to explore only by walking or hiking around its 16 lakes, numerous waterfalls fed by both Black and White Rivers, and seemingly endless forests. After the rest and picnic here, we bike into the forest to Suputovo Vrelo ending in Jezerce Village. From this point, we take a bus that leads us to the village Smiljan, birthplace home of Nikola Tesla. The house was renovated, restored, and turned into an interactive museum about the prolific inventor. Then we head back to our village just in time to enjoy a quick swim before dinner.

4th Day (Tue) Island PAG (Biking distance 35 km )

After breakfast, a transfer bus is waiting to take us to island Pag. First thing to see is the Duke’s Palace with Pag Lace Gallery. Don’t forget to get one of Pag lace souvenirs.

From here, we follow our guide on demanding single trails to the most famous beach on the island is Zrce beach, next to a large bay of Novalja.

We will visit the cheese factory where several sorts of this delicacy are produced exclusively from milk of Pag sheep.

On July 2010 ON The World Cheese Awards, Sirana Gligora's Paški Sir was judged to be the best in class and received 3 Super Gold Medals as well as making it through to the final 10 best cheeses of the world. You also can try and buy that cheese there.

5th day (Wed) - Today we take a break from bike

You will feel the pulse of Zadar as you hear an interesting story or two about the city. We will give you an unforgettable tour of Zadar and step back with you into ancient times, silently witnessed by Zadar's Roman forum. We will tell you the story of St. Donatus, whose church is a symbol of the city, and take a walk along the popular Kalelarga street.

As a special treat at the end of the tour, we will listen to the unique sound of the sea organ with a view of the most beautiful sunset in the world. Let's unlock the secrets of the city where classical antiquity, Romanesque, the Venetian spirit, and contemporary architecture harmoniously intertwine.

Guided tour – old town Zadar – bus transfer

Nature Park Telašćica is located in the southeastern part of the island. On the way to Telascica we stop at Grpascak, an old Austrian fort, for breathtaking views of the rocks and the steep cliffs that fall vertically into the sea from a height of 200 meters.

In the evening the ferry picks us up from Brbinj and takes us to back to mainland where the bus is waiting to take us to Kozino.

7th day (Fri) Kozino - Vrsi - Nin – Petrčane (approx. 38 km.)

After breakfast we drive to the north where a real cowboy city has emerged in Vrsi near Nin - Buffalo Bill City. There you can also see an unusual Coca-Cola Museum.
